December Dailies writing prompts. #18 Book
I do like reading. In the lockdowns, I found my love of books, reading and writing deserted me. But now I’ve got it back, and it’s wonderful!
I’m currently reading “The Eyre Affair” by Jason Fforde, which is the first in his literary time travel series based around Thursday Next. It’s amusing and clever and I’m delighted there will be more books to enjoy after this. I do love a good series. Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch is another favourite.The photo today is of my oldest book. It’s a 1485 version of “Lives of the Philosphers” by Laertes Diogenes, one of the oldest ever printed books. Oh my.
