Memosaic
Memosaic: Digital mosaics and quilts
A mosaic or a quilt is greater than the sum of its parts and creates something special and beautiful out of its many elements.
A digital mosaic or quilt can capture contributions from many writers, old and young, in a variety of settings, from education to writing classes, to local community arts projects. Mosaics can capture images, photographs, poems and short pieces of writing on a theme. Together they create a meta-story
I’ve been involved in the creation of a number of digital mosaics and quilts with child and adult writers across the world, including, in lockdown, the Agathokakological Aussie Summer Mosaic and the very first quilts the Dawn Quilt (across South East Asia) and the international Noon Quilt (from the trAce Online Writing Centre) and school memory quilts and mosaics.
