December Dailies writing prompts. #17 Warm

I like to wrap up well, get out and enjoy the crisp cold air of December – so long as it’s not raining. I’m not terribly keen on walking in the rain, but I don’t too much mind gentle fluffy snow, fog or cloud. Wind can be challenging, but so long as it’s not actually blowing you off your feet and over the seawall, like Storm Arwen or whatever, then a bracing day is great for a walk. I like walking in the woods, or on the beach, or along the seafront. I like small towns where you can window shop as you go, or historic gardens and formal parks. I’m not so keen on suburban streets.

And when I get back in again – there’s nothing quite like warming up with a hot cup of tea.

Today’s prompt is:

Warm
