OER13 is coming to Nottingham

The international open learning conference OER13 is coming to Nottingham from March 26-27th 2013.

“Are we ready to build on the last ten years of investment in open educational resources and move to the creation of a virtuous circle of open educational practice?”

Following on from previous high profile conferences in Cambridge and Manchester and last year’s highly successful collaboration with the international Open Courseware Consortium, the 2013 conference will be held in the Nottingham Business School on Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham. The theme of the conference is Creating a virtuous circle with topics on evidence, experience and expectation.

Keynotes include the University of Nottingham’s PVC for Internationalisation, Professor Christine Ennew, Rachel Wenstone, Vice President (Higher Education) NUS and Doug Belshaw from the Mozilla Foundation. This promises to be a stimulating and engaging conference exploring what next for open learning.

Bookings close on 25/02/13. For more information: http://www.ucel.ac.uk/oer13/index.html
