I love where I live!
Such an interesting day and it’s not finished yet!
* Watched the North Tyneside 10K runners past the house. Shout out to Sam whose toddler nephews were holding a big supportive banner right opposite me. And well done all the runners no matter where they were in the field.
* The Cullercoats RNLI lifeboat went out for its regular Sunday morning practice.
* Watched a free short film about Glaswegians in Whitley Bay in 1976 courtesy of the Whitley Bay Film Festival at Cullercoats Watch House.
* Participated in a film haiku quiz as part of WBFF with the always worthwhile Peter Mortimer
* Visited (still for free) the Dove Marine Laboratory’s fascinating displays of research as part of Heritage Open Days. I now know what the heartbeat of a crab looks like!
* Watched the waves crashing on the beach. Didn’t plodge or swim today!
I love where I live!!!
