Why blog?
- poses questions
- references other sources of information
- is about a topic that makes you (and other people) think
- can have a subject OR
- a context that links the posts: the context can be a what (sheds, a hobby) or a why – it gives the user an understanding of why they’re there and is what links the content – even if it’s just that the writer is a “mommy-blogger”
People speaking about blogs:
“It’s been a great way to communicate with our customers – and for them, more importantly, to communicate with us. It just touches people more.”
Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO
“You are letting people have a sense of the people here. You’re building a connection. People feel more a part of this.” Bill Gates on Robert Scoble, the American blogger and Vice President of Media Development, PodTech.Network Inc.
