OK, so this is back to my beloved blues and purples. I was really surprised how these colours turned out, as I thought the inks are more purple and blue than pink and purple: Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans and then Mermaid Lagoon to give it more blue: the Splash Watercolour Technique used, and then Uniko’s KindnessBlooms starburst embossed in silver on the watercoloured paper and the card, which was masked and a gentle aqua wash sponged on. In neither this nor the fiery coloured cards did the watercolour paper turn out as well as I’d hoped. The Happy Christmas is from Uniko also. Great start on the Christmas cards…
