Joe:

Brad were mouthin' off, tellin' 'em all that he were the one who were goin' t'keep the yuppies out.

It didn't go down well in that pub, 'coz it were a bit of a yuppy haunt. Not really one we'd bin to before. We were in the back room and it were pretty noisy and crowded, but somebody must've complained because this barman comes across and says it's time for us to go.

Well, I didn't feel like arguin'. Brad said a few things he shouldn't've, and the barman were lookin' pretty threatenin' and callin' his mates across and talkin' about police. But they don't like police interferin' any more than we do so I pulled at Brad and Mickey pulled at t'other side and we got him outside.

I didn't see that blackie and the fella with the beard. But we'd only just got outside when they comes harin' after us, yellin'. It were just bad luck there were a couple o'coppers outside. I still think it ain't fair they arrested me. It were Brad who were hitting those blokes — and Mickey a bit. I tried to pull 'em off.

Honest!

The End
