There may be quite a few cards in this colourway coming along &#8211; I had a great time trying the splash watercolour technique (and a few others) to make similar coloured backgrounds on a variety of paper types.\u00a0 As it&#8217;s so hot here at the moment it was a perfect time to try a technique involving letting the card dry between layers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-999\" src=\"http:\/\/helenwhitehead.com\/haiku\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Splashagapanthus.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"464\" height=\"472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helenwhitehead.com\/haiku\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Splashagapanthus.jpg 464w, https:\/\/helenwhitehead.com\/haiku\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Splashagapanthus-147x150.jpg 147w, https:\/\/helenwhitehead.com\/haiku\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Splashagapanthus-295x300.jpg 295w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 464px) 100vw, 464px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I used Fossilised Amber, Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxides, with Stampendous Agapanthus in Mememnto black embellished with Jewel Nuvo Drops, and a Uniko Simply Said Blocks sentiment.
