The same moment, from another point of view

After waiting for ten minutes to be served, I decided to give up. I'm not that big, and when the place is full I always seem to end up getting beer spilt on me. I don't find that very pleasant.

"Let's not wait," I suggested, "Let's go to the Fox. There'll be space to sit on the riverbank if not inside."

Jake and Andy grumbled about the lack of good beers at the Fox, but Claire and I were more interested in a seat than the quality of the beers, so we hauled them out of the crowd and we started across town.
