Escape Games in Moodle – free download
In 2020 and 2021 one of my projects was exploring how I could create online escape games for learning and teaching, including for online induction of students. It’s so important that students are encouraged to interact and develop a sense of belonging and of trust in the others in their learning community, and online escape games can be one of the more engaging tools in one’s kit to support this development of a sense of community, even when learning is entirely or mostly online.
Here is a “Beginners’ Pack” of material to introduce escape games for induction and how they can be produced in a Moodle Lesson Activity. That’s probably as simple as it gets in Moodle.
