Easter Cross

I’ve had this Celtic cross from Elusive Images for some time and it is my go-to for some occasions. I have it in two sizes. This time it is an Easter card, though I think this design would work well as a Sympathy card also.

As well as the Elusive Images stamp, the sentiment is Uniko Simply Said and the colour is watercolour and some navy ink which has no name on it!

This is entered into:

CAS on Friday #129 (Easter)

CASOLOGY #293 (Cross)

The Sunday Stamps SSC175 Easter Palette colours have been used on this.

The design is based on CASE This Sketch #265.

Easter comes in spring
But weather doesn’t conform
We wait for the snow…

Easter bunny

I was inspired by the bunny wreath idea at Fusion, so I’ve run with that idea and Uniko stamps on a watercoloured background to make a cute Easter card.

The stamps are all Uniko: the wreath elements are from the little stamps in the Originally Organic and Happy Succulents sets as well as the main stamp from Some Bunny.  I used my brand new MISTI for the first time – I am really pleased with it. I couldn’t have done that wreath without it.

The background is watercoloured in Uniko’s challenge colours this month and it’s hard to see in the picture but the wreath is embellished with Orange Marmalade and Limoncello Nuvo Jewel Drops.

Entered in Uniko’s current challenge March /April No. 46 Colours with the twist of Easter (think I’ve used all the colours!)

and in Fusion because of their brilliant inspiration of the bunny wreath, and the pink and green are included 🙂

Wish you Easter joy!
